Doom Scroll has been making quite a name for themselves for the last few years playing inspired folk-punk with haunting melodies and socially relevant lyrics. This Colorado based folk-punk super group with members of Apes of the State, Days N Daze, Rent Strike, etc. We are so excited to have this band coming to Squashed. Old friends and new ones, it is going to be amazing!

Pentagram String Band
https://thepentagramstringband.bandcamp.com/music
Pentagram String Band is from Kansas City and identifies and Satanic Bluegrass. This is high octane, stomping, good old thrashgrass! They are suspicious of traditional bluegrass and play a style of gothic folk, punk and thrash metal. Often involving cannibalism and murder, their lyrics focus on themes of Satan, misery and the joys of death.

A Bird Among Men
https://abirdamongmen.bandcamp.com/music
The return of a legend. This is one of the most exciting things about this show! A Bird Among Men started playing here over a decade ago and has largely stopped playing. They agreed to return for this amazing show and we could not be more excited! Folk-Punk anthems, one after another with a humble charm and the sweetest of character coupled with real and dark lyrics. We love ABAM!
